Feeling anxious is a normal part of the human experience, but anxiety can quickly become debilitating without attention and care. Join mindfulness and meditation expert Dorsey Standish for a two-hour integrative mindfulness workshop to address and decrease feelings of worry, anxiety, and panic. Participants will learn to bring awareness to bodily sensations, emotions, and mental patterns associated with anxiety. This awareness, coupled with brain health techniques like noting and breath work, will empower participants to alleviate anxiety in everyday life.
No previous experience with mindfulness is required. Workshop participants should bring a pen & paper or small notebook and a yoga mat. It is optional to bring a small pillow and/or a blanket for additional comfort.
