Dorsey Standish is a mechanical engineer, neuroscientist, keynote speaker, and wellness expert who has spoken to audiences at corporations including Staples, Toyota, Meta, Pier One, and American Airlines.
Her personal mission as a top mindfulness keynote speaker is to help driven, Type A professionals like herself ease anxiety and stress through mindfulness-based brain health training. She is also the CEO of Mastermind, a Dallas-based mental wellness firm that brings science-based brain training techniques to organizations nationwide, including Deloitte, Hilton, FedEx, the University of North Texas at Dallas, and the Dallas Independent School District.
Dorsey holds a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her teachings draw on her training as a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through Brown University and deep experience on regular 7-day silent meditation retreats with master teachers.
She lives in Dallas, Texas, with her wife and their two sons.
