Dorsey once wrote in her childhood diary, “I love school…I wish we had more homework.” Type A from the start, she thrived on challenge, chased gold stars, and approached life with relentless curiosity and drive. But as achievement piled on and the pressure to do more intensified, she eventually hit a wall—mentally, emotionally, and physically. That breaking point sparked a lifelong mission: helping high performers slow down, reset, and train their brains for sustainable success.
Today, Dorsey draws on her background as a mechanical engineer and neuroscientist to deliver science-backed strategies that help individuals and organizations reduce stress, sharpen focus, and build lasting resilience.
Through her company, Mastermind, she’s worked with Fortune 500 teams, STEM leaders, and driven professionals who once thought they were “too busy” to breathe—let alone meditate.
While Dorsey is Ivy League–educated and holds a Master’s in Neuroscience, she’ll tell you her best teachers are her wife and two adorable sons. They remind her daily that presence is more powerful than perfection—and that joy, rest, and connection are just as essential to high performance as brain training.
